Taurus T. Bartlett, also known under the stage name Polo G in the United States, is a musician and songwriter. Pop Out, his best-known single, is among the most famous. Sometimes referred to as Mr. Capalot, or Polo Capalot the ace rapper who hails from Chicago Illinois, started gaining recognition after he started releasing songs on YouTube. First releases included the tracks The Come Up and "Never Cared" after which he released his SoundCloud debut by releasing a mixtape called "OFFICIAL POLOG SOUNDCLOUD". Gang With Me became his first number one single. It was later followed by The Finer Thing. It was composed during his time in prison. The song became the first single to break through and accumulated thousands of viewers on YouTube which brought him into the limelight. In the ensuing weeks, major labels expressed interest. Pop Out feat. Lil Tjay was released by the rapper when he signed the deal to license his songs with Columbia Records. The song was viewed hundreds of millions of views on YouTube as well as reaching number 22 in the Billboard Hot 100. This is the first time Polo G charted an entire song. Polo G was a YouTube sensation and gained a good amount of popularity through other social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
