Chando lives within New York City. Chando was a student at Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando played Maddie Coleman, the lead character of As the World changes from 2005 to 2007; she then reprised her role for a brief length of time starting in 2009. Alexandra debuted in 2002 with House Blend in 2002 as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her first TV part following three years. Then in the year 2009 Chando was cast in the American documentary TV show True life and further appeared in the television series Sherri. Chando starred in two episodes on the American comedy drama Glory Daze. She has also appeared on Castle, Hindsight and Dead People.
